The Wall Controller

If your storm shutters are controlled by conventional wall switches that are connected to the shutter motors by wires inside your walls, the DryLanai®Wall Controller will become the brains of your automatic rain protection system.  The Wall Controller mounts on your wall where the conventional switches were.  It lets you raise and lower your storm shutters by touching switch pads on its front panel, and it detects signals from the Rain Sensors in your outdoor living space that tell it to lower your storm shutters when it rains.

  • Easy to install.  A trained technician can remove your conventional wall switches and install a DryLanai Wall Controller in less than an hour.  No need to take your storm shutters apart, no extra wires to install, no mess.
  • Slim and Trim.  The Wall Controller is only slightly larger than the wall switch panel it replaces, and its dimension from front to back is less than an inch and a half.  It has a stylish appearance on your wall, but it’s not too flashy.

  • Smart.  It allows you to disable the automatic feature so you won’t trigger a false alarm when you water your plants or spray for ants in the vicinity of your Rain Sensors.  And if you forget to reactivate the automatic feature, the DryLanai Wall Controller will do it for you an hour after you disabled it.
